Only birds who flying the highest can shatter the windows

2022

A series of stained glass windows inspired by the ecclesiastical window and their narrative role in Church Architecture.

A window is an architectural element has the role of letting the light in and occasionally the passage of air and movement. Although its transparency indicates openness, its propose is the protect the inside from the elements outside.

While the source of energy and raw materials pass the borders of the protected global north border to keep feeding their economic growth, similar to light passing through the transparent windows, the bodies of the endangered communities and people get trapped on the borders. Their images are used to tell stories about the crisis we are facing, while they are stuck in a limboed situation of not being in nor out!
