Once upon a playground

Shatana is a small village with a population of approximately 150 and located about 70 kilometers from Amman, Jordan. Every summer the small population temporarily doubles with children visiting their grandparents. Once upon a playground was installed as part of an open day organized by Shatana Residency, as a hybrid of playground objects and the comfortable sofas found around peoples garden's.

Shatana ist ein kleines Dorf mit etwa 150 Einwohnern, das etwa 70 Kilometer von Amman in Jordanien entfernt liegt. Jeden Sommer verdoppelt sich die kleine Bevölkerung vorübergehend durch Kinder, die ihre Großeltern besuchen. Im Rahmen eines von der Shatana Residency organisierten Tages der offenen Tür wurde ein Spielplatz installiert, eine Mischung aus Spielplatzobjekten und bequemen Sofas, die man in den Gärten der Bewohner findet.
