Following months of blackouts, I took photographs of different power generator models that flooded the market in Sanaa between 2012-2015. All across the city diesel generators camouflaged against the backdrop of shops and households. Hayel str. is titled after the street name where the photograph was taken in front of a textile shop.

Nach monatelangen Stromausfällen fotografierte ich verschiedene Modelle von Stromgeneratoren, die zwischen 2012 und 2015 den Markt in Sanaa überschwemmten. Überall in der Stadt tarnten sich Dieselgeneratoren vor der Kulisse von Geschäften und Wohnhäusern. Die Hayel Street ist nach der Straße benannt, in der das Foto vor einem Textilgeschäft aufgenommen wurde.
