Noa Heyne is a multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin. She creates site-specific installations that emphasize the physical involvement of the viewers, and are influenced by marionette theater and architecture. Heyne studied painting and comparative literature in Jerusalem, and received her MFA in sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art (2017). She attended several residencies around the world, among them the Acre Residency, Wisconsin, USA (2018), the ZK/U residency, Berlin (2019), and Culture Zone residency, Wroclaw, Poland (2020). Heyne is the recipient of a number of awards, among them the LABA Berlin fellowship (2021), the Stiftung Zurückgeben Projektstipendium (2019), the Baker Artists Award nomination (2018), and the MICA LAB award (2017).
