the CUBE

Commissioned by Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs Ca.. 500 recycled loudspeakers, radios, amplifiers, mixing board. The sculpture amplifies electromagnetic radio signals to which local spectators can add their own tunes and pre-recorded messages. The sculpture is also conceived as a fully interactive sound sculpture where participants can play guitar, sing, and play their favorite tunes via bluetooth technology.
