Installation

The sculpture comprises of a total volume of 250 ml (the average blood volume of a newborn) of inkjet ink, printed on 832 slides of OHP transparency film, using a regular domestic printer.

The current price of printer ink for a printer model HP 22 Tri-color is ca. €528 per liter.
The current price of human blood according to the German Red Cross is ca. €200 per liter.
