The Studio Office in the kulturwerk of the bbk berlin is the central contact point for all artists living in Berlin and looking for a studio–regardless of whether they are members of the bbk. We provide advice on finding a studio and holding on to existing studios.
The Studio Office has made a long-term commitment to securing spaces for the production of visual art in Berlin and to keeping them affordable for artists, even in the face of gentrification.

The integration of the paper workshop into the print workshop broadens the spectrum of artistic techniques and professional opportunities available. Politically advocated for and promoted since 2024, the project was implemented by the Senate at the last minute before the end of 2025, in close cooperation with the management of bbk berlin, Wibke Behrens, and the workshop.

GENUG!ENOUGH! Global Women*s General Strike
The bbk berlin is striking on the Global Women*s General Strike on March 9, supporting a growing platform with over 1,000 women and several dozen men, with more than 40 regional groups spread across the globe and just as many organizations, each saying ENOUGH! in their own way.
