Christin Kaiser

Christin Kaiser is a multimedia artist. Initiating often from a photograph, her sculptures expand through meticulous research into multicomponential installations, in which contents from history of architecture and design are brought together into one narrative. Drawing inspiration from the lived environment, albeit not without mimicry and a touch of humor, the artist underlines notions of inequality and social status in contemporary life. Kaiser’s artworks are compositions of carefully and wittingly selected artefacts, in which the thin line that divides originals from simulacrums and fact from fiction, is barely distinguishable.
