I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and was seventeen when I co-founded my first non-profit organization with my friends in high school, earning us the President’s Volunteer Service Award from Barack Obama. Growing up in a multiracial family, I overcame language and culture barriers from a very young age through other forms of expression. Moving into the city, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Communication & Media Studies in three and a half years at DePaul University. My fascination for the arts and communication continued through my studies and into my later international work within community art.
Currently, I am living and working with intercultural youths in Germany to lead integrational and cultural development through art projects. Additionally this year, I founded the All Related multiracial and ethnic community project, which wishes to dissolve struggles associated with that question of belonging by creating a platform through art to communicate, create, and provide a basic need for community and family.
