The sixth part of ‘Rumours was dedicated to Sunn O))), a band formed in 1998 and consisting essentially of two members. A few days before these internationally acclaimed representatives of the ‘doom metal’ and ‘drone metal’ genres were due to perform at the silent green Kulturquartier in Berlin, the programme ‘Rumours’ showcased a wide variety of musical facets of the band and its ever-changing collaborations: from their early beginnings right up to recent years.

The audience included not only loyal, long-standing fans of Sunn O))), but also a number of people who were experiencing for the first time the musical and aesthetic concept of the two founders, Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson, which transcends conventions and boundaries.
