FIXTURES #2 Event in the Media Workshop - Henning Christiansen Archive / Rachel Dagnall & Thorbjørn Reuter Christiansen

From the archive of the Danish FLUXUS artist and composer Henning Christiansen (1932-2008), Rachel Dagnall & Thorbjørn Reuter Christiansen will present a selection of video and sound recordings that have just been digitized in the Media Workshop. The material includes documentation of numerous actions from the period 1969 to 2008, including with Joseph Beuys, and of performances, especially from the 1980s and 90s in Berlin. In addition, excerpts from records produced by the Henning Christiansen Archive (Møn, Denmark) with music by Henning Christiansen will be presented.

After the presentation there will be an opportunity to talk to the two of them about the work of the archive, the digitization process and other issues.
