Medienwerkstatt: space for art work with time-based media

Medienwerkstatt Berlin offers infrastructure and know-how for the realization of diverse media and interactive art.

The offer includes 11 different computer workstations, an acoustically optimized audio room, a greenbox studio and analogue / digital interfaces, including two old Steenbeck cutting tables (16mm, 35mm). This includes advice and troubleshooting, short introductions to programs and the execution of contract work. Workshops and series of events complete the offer. Further is in preparation.

 The media workshop is growing: a new large room (ca 80qm) is planned - the media lab. Interactive or hybrid works of art can be created and tested there, performances and installations. It should be open to a wide range of experiments with art and media as well as for events.

On special demand:
Hand-held 3D laser scanner: ZScanner 700 with laptop and software Geomagic Studio 10, wrap. The device is operated exclusively by a specialist from the sculptor's workshop.
