Partner of the studio offices

Among its tasks, which include advice and support of visual artists in the room search and the development and procurement of publicly funded studios and studio apartments through an independent commission, the Studio Office advises on the development of self-initiated and self-managed studio projects.

From this cooperation some free studio houses in Berlin have emerged.  These studios will also continue to be supported in their work by the Studio Office.

In addition, the Studio Office in the Kulturwerk of the bbk berlin was for its 10 th anniversary in 2003 led to the founding of an international network with the aim of promoting and exchange of artists' studios.
